Vampire cat finds a loving home after being rescued

A kitty with big vampire fangs finds a new home after being rescued from the streets. Read the beauiful story about the vampire cat.

It all began when a little black kitten ran right in front of Nicole Rienzie's car as she was on her way home. Her mum, who was driving the car, stopped just in time and Nicole got out to check that the kitten was alright.

The poor cat was dirty and covered in bugs, he was malnourished and his eye were so infected that he could barely see anything. They decided to take the frail kitten home to give him some care. He received a bath, a nice full meal and loads of love and cuddles. Soon, the once thin and vulneable kitten, was nursed right back to health.

They decided to name him 'Monkey' or 'Monk' for short, afer they would call him it whilst his usual playful and cheeky self. The name just kind of stuck and suited his obviously quite wild, silly and hyper personallity.

His vampire fangs appeared later, the cannines just didn't seem to stop growing and before long the two teeth made him look like a vampire. Nicole did say that she attempted to find the beauiful cat a new home but she soon came to the realisation that she loved Monk and seriously enjoyed every minute with him. She stated that she needed him just as much as he needed her, which is beautiful.

Monk was taken to the vet because there was a little bit of worry about his oddly long vampire teeth, but they were reassurred that, although it is very rare, long fangs like that do happen sometimes in cats and, it is nothing to worry about. Monk's vampire teeth have become his little claim to fame, he was tens of thousands of fans on Instagram, with the name "Vampire Cat Monk & Bean", creating the message that your differences should be embraced.

He shares his Instagram with his brother, Bean, who was also rescued by Nicole, both of them are black cats and the two instantly hit it off, not only looking like brothers but completely acting like it too. He loves his adopted brother and always nurtures and helps Bean.

The vampire cat has serious attitude and sass, with quite a feisty behaviour - but what can yoou expect from an Instagram vampire star? He is such a diva. However, he loves his brother and his mum and is always so much fun to be around.

There have been people on social media accounts who have claimed that Monk's teeth are photoshopped but all the rumours have kind of been laughed off by Nicole. Videos on her Instagram, which you can follow here, prove that the adorable cat is au naturale. This little cat has come a long way from where he used to be and it seems like complete fate that Monk and Nicole (almost) bumped into each other that faithful day.
